To start off the New Year, this week I will recap our first few weeks in Australia and talk about our Christmas celebrations. When I look back at the blur that was December, I cannot believe how fast the time passed. Where did the months go? Actually, how did we get to 2010? Where did the decade go? We've gone from this, two crazy young kids that saw each other only a few months a year....
.... to this, a married couple...
(our wedding at Cottesloe Civic Center in Western Australia)
...and we lived for about three years in Perth.
... then almost 2 lovely years in the US, mostly in Boston
(we vaguely remember the horror that was Houston)...
(we vaguely remember the horror that was Houston)...
... then almost another two years in Zurich, Switzerland...
(although this picture is of Lausanne...)
(although this picture is of Lausanne...)
We did a heap of traveling in between
(that below was really nice, er I mean Nice....)
... met a lot of great people...
... then after almost four years overseas, we decided it was time to go.
So we packed a lot of boxes....
So we packed a lot of boxes....
and as of November 27th, 2009, we are back in Australia for good.
My oh my... where does the time go?
My oh my... where does the time go?
So welcome again to the new blog, glad to see you over here, and Happy New Year! I look forward to sharing our adventures in 2010 and beyond. ;)

Vegemite is something you have to be raised on. After trying it again and again I cannot stomach it either. Oh and I agree- Houston isn't exactly paradise!
Can't wait to hear more of you all in Oz! Happy New Year!
Thanks, Habebi, for the comment! ;)
I do like Vegemite but only in very tiny portions and preferably with cheese - don't get me started on this iSnack2.0 debacle though!
