Happy New Year - Happy New Blog

It's official! As of 2010, I will blogging over here on Aussiestory Blog. Swisstory will still be around, no worries there, but new posts will be here - I hope you will join me. You can also get updates via RSS or email still, too!

To start off the New Year, this week I will recap our first few weeks in Australia and talk about our Christmas celebrations. When I look back at the blur that was December, I cannot believe how fast the time passed. Where did the months go? Actually, how did we get to 2010? Where did the decade go?  We've gone from this, two crazy young kids that saw each other only a few months a year....

.... to this, a married couple...

...and we lived for about three years in Perth.

... then almost 2 lovely years in the US, mostly in Boston
(we vaguely remember the horror that was Houston)...

... then almost another two years in Zurich, Switzerland...

We did a heap of traveling in between
(that below was really nice, er I mean Nice....)

... met a lot of great people...

... had some wonderful visitors...

... then after almost four years overseas, we decided it was time to go.
So we packed a lot of boxes....

and as of November 27th, 2009, we are back in Australia for good.
My oh my... where does the time go?

This new blog will see us settle back into the Aussie way of life after being expats for almost 4 years. And who am I kidding - I am not Aussie (no matter how hard I try to say G'day all sexy like or try to stomach Vegemite on toast...), so this is still about an expat living abroad, trying to make Australia home. I hope you'll join me.

So welcome again to the new blog, glad to see you over here, and Happy New Year! I look forward to sharing our adventures in 2010 and beyond. ;)
